Imagination is the root of creation or rather discovery because we do not create, we discover.

True creation is not for humans, building is for humans and there is a huge difference between building and creating. So, in human life, there is building and discovering. When we build, we assemble pieces that have been discovered.

Our current society promote building, the step by step process of assembling in a rational way, it does not really promote discovery.

Imagination is what allows discovery, allows the irrational leap forward, the new way to look at the world, the new perspective.
